By the way, there is not a team in baseball that would take Jered Weaver out of the rotation at this precise point.

Look how the Giants handled Tim Lincecum, the Yankees with Sabathia, the Tigers with Verlander, etc etc

If you have that kind of track record you get a much longer leash than this.

It's not a "Sciosica likes veterans" thing.
