Not sure how the laws are wherever he was arrested, but hes looking at potential real time. I had a child porn case once, and the guy did more time on that than the actual molestation....let that sink in...

Plea deal is 5 years prison and $1.4m in restitution. Each victim gets $100k. Dude should be in jail for at LEAST 1 yr for every victim! This is a joke.

So which is scarier.  That he had sex with 14 minors, and no one reported it.  Or that the only reason he was caught was because of an off comment he made to a "friend".

He pleaded rather quickly. I bet there were more minors involved and wanted to close the investigation. If more girls come forward, could he be charged? Or will the plea deal exonerate him?

They caught him because they found a link between him and the guy that was the head of his foundation. Apparently that guy was recording minors in his home with hidden cameras and sending them to Jared. As they started digging into that they found Jared was hiring people to find minors for him to have sex with.

Two victims came forward but not sure if that was before or after the FBI raid.

He's facing 5-13 years in prison. His lawyers are trying to get 5 and the Prosecuters are trying to get 13. So the Judge will decide on something in between.

I never could investigate this kind of thing.  There is nothing that would make me feel better about it.  Putting someone in jail is not reward enough.

would love to see a conversation between hanson and ANYONE. we just brought that up at work the other day, about how hreat that show was. Yeah, those guys are sick and you shouldnt laugh, but anson fronting them and their excuses were always pretty entertaining.

I feel bad for the detectives who have to investigate this crap. We have a family friend who was assigned to be an undercover agent in child porn cases and it really effed him up, he was never the same after seeing the evil he had to see everyday.

ive conducted and sat in on a few interviews. Usually a detective will take the statememts, but we generally take the initial report. Theres no way around it, you have to ask graphic questions, and its never fun.

On anothwr note, rich guy...going to jail for molester shit...id say lifes about to suck badly for jered. The sharks will be thrashing the water before hes even done unpacking...

When Jared and Chad Curtis get out of prison they should apply for a GM position in the MLB.

Because a GM position requires lots of hard work and it would keep them both busy so they can have a solid career and life after prison.

I guess you could take solace in the fact that you would be preventing other children from being hurt in the future by putting people like Jared in prison. It would definitely scar your mind though.
