I keep hearing these so called experts associating this term with the Angels in the last few days. I find it funny since all of these experts picked the Mariners to win the division and the Angels to be in second or third.

That's correct, but the media's job now is to make this as sensational as possible.  And the Angels front office job is to slow it all down.  Things will be bizarre for a few weeks, then the media will run off to the next train wreck.
