Outdoor NHL action in 2014

Ducks & Kings at Dodger stadium should be awesome.  I am definitely going to that.

Smart idea to have the game just before the SuperBowl.  

 

But not sure about having it so many times a year.  The conditions for outdoor games can be brutal, and is prone for injury.  They are really taking a gamble here.  Especially spreading themselves thin in January.

I'm just wondering how much tickets are going to cost for the game here. I want really good seats. Most likely the loge season behind one of the dugouts or the plate.

That's really a bummer if true.  Come on NHL you are coming off a lockout shortened season, at least give us some $50 tix.

You'll hardly see the puck from there, if at all, because a lot it will be blocked by the boards plus the angle of your seat location. Fr these games the upper deck seats will offer a better sight angle, but they'll lose plenty because they're so far away.
