"I Side With" Presidential Candidate Poll

Recommended Posts

Was listening to the Hannity show today. When they played the speech Christie said today after he announced his run for presidency (which was actually really good), some Republican dude was bashing Christie big time and of course Hannity not defending Christie at all.

Why the hell do Republicans hate the guy so much? He's your best chance at winning the presidency TBO.

If they weren't on complete opposite sides of the Union spectrum I would love for them to run and prez/vice prez.

stewart mentioned it... he worked with barack after sandy.

Ya Schil, I think that is when it started.  I wasn't even sure it was working together or he just said something nice about Obama.  There are so many GOP self destruction devices in there right now that TFunke may be right.  He could be their best guy.

I think Americans think highly of economic issues, it's just hard to trust a president saying we need to spend less and then right afterwards say things like expand the military.

Or, in Christie's case, saying the War on Drugs has failed, only to follow that by saying he would go after all the states where it is legalized.

This is where I had a major disconnect with Romney in 2012. He wanted to give the military a fixed percentage of federal tax revenue without any regard to whether they really needed it, and he came out in favor of adding 100,000 troops to the military without giving any reason why this might be necessary.

I wouldn't even be mad if he was their best guy. I might actually vote for him.

i like christie. i can see myself voting for him. i like his presence and confidence. the others just seem smarmy. or maybe he seems less smarmy.

It's a shame he wants to go after pot...that could bring in quite a bit of money for the government which would help out his proposed 28% top tax rate.

2 things I'd do if I'm elected president:

1. Legalize pot (would be a huge source of rev for the government and IMO less harmful than alcohol which is already legal)

2.  US online poker site/race,sports betting site/casino site.  Think how much the government would make off the rake/vig? They would also be able to know how much a person has won at the end of the year and tax that too.
