Josh Donaldson dives into the stands to keep Marco Estrada's perfect game bid alive in the 8th inning today. Moments later, he made another tremendous play on a grounder, but his throw to first was a fraction of a second too late.

Rays ended up losing 1-0 in 12 innings, but that was one heck of a play.

But he didn't throw 12 perfect innings like Harvey Haddix did in 1959.

Mark Buerhle holds the MLB record for consecutive batters retired.

Pedro is still the best pitcher I've ever seen. He had a shorter peak than some, but I'd take '97-'01 Pedro over anybody I've ever seen.
