No it really hasn't. It was bad in 2010, but other than that...

In 2012, they were 2% better with RISP than they hit without RISP, and 12% better than the league hit with RISP.

2011: 8% better with RISP, 2% better than the league

2010: 1% better with RISP, 13% WORSE than the league

2009: 11% better with RISP, 18% better than the league

Wow, I had no idea. Perception sure is a bitch. If you would have asked me I would have said last year we were 20% worse.

Ya, I did have the same feeling before the first time I saw those numbers.

 

I think the times they strand runners on 2nd and 3rd or whatever just stick with us more than when they get a hit in that spot.
