I could argue maybe Cabrera or Fielder.

 

Pujols only has 5 less homeruns than they do combined. Pujols has played a pretty good defense this year as usual too. 

 

I would probably give the nod to Fielder but it's OK to vote homer if your guy is at least in the neighborhood.

Cabrera leads all first basemen in the AL in AVG, OPS, and WAR. He's also 2nd in RBI's.

He's like 5th in voting at his position and doesn't deserve to start so nah I'm good. He should make it as a reserve but who knows. Miggy and Prince will be locks and with Royals fans stuffing the ballot, Hosmer and Morales may get in as starters

After the travesty of last year's Jeter love fest coupled with the lack of an acknowledgement of the deaths of a handful of legendary All-Star players, I just have no desire to even acknowledge the ASG exists.

Move the game to Yankee stadium, let the entire Royals roster on the team, let Jeter throw out the first pitch and bat every half inning, and have Hambone be the only participant of the home run derby.

I'm out. I wash my hands of it.
