Uh, Bob, the AL West has two teams ahead of them. Texas in particular is playing excellent baseball and due to get back two key players to stregnthen them. The Angels still have to claw their way to first place before we make any statements about them dominating the division.

I'm not a believer in Texas whatsoever and the Astros wont finish above .500.  I also didn't say they were going to dominate the division, I said it was theirs to lose.  If I had to guess Angels win the division with 88 wins, followed by Texas at 85 and Seattle at 81.

I think it's the crouch. The last couple of years, he's been standing almost straight up at the plate, but this year, he's gone back to the semi-crouch he had in Saint Loo.

This. I mentioned that I noticed him crouching more at the plate last week. I do happen to think it is making a difference. Just hope he continues.

He's actually laying off bad pitches right now.  This may be the first time he has done that consistently in an Angels uniform.  This is the first time since Albert's first month here that I have been excited to watch his at bats.  At this point the AL West is the Angels to lose.  No reason any team should beat them (in the west) if Pujols is going to hit like this.

It will take more than a Pujols hot bat to win the division...pitching wins titles and the offense has a Bermuda Triangle 6 thru 8

I don't think I've seen him hit the ball the other way like this since he's been an Angel. I love it. Can't stand when guys try to pull everything. Pujols hasn't been everything we've hoped since we've signed him but he's hardly been the problem

That's why it's the Angels division to lose.  If the starting pitching and bullpen does what it does last year, Angels win division.  If they don't then they've given it away.  If Pujols and Trout are going to keep mashing 6-8 in the order can be pretty bad and we will still put up a decent amount of runs.

Not seeing the logic in crowning them the AL West champs in June when they are 5 games out in 3rd place and are 10th in runs scored along with being12th in OPS. It is not their division to lose until they can show they can win consistently.
