Evidence that online fan voting for the All Star Game should be abolished

It isn't awesome, its bullcrap and its completely ruining what's left of the all star game.

I really don't care how suddenly "passionate" the royals "fan base" is, get the players in there that actually deserve to be in the game

Then vote!

So many tards are sitting behind a computer complaining about a system that has been in place for decades and not doing anything buy passing the buck and bitching.

LOL --- people have been talking about how the Royals are the most disliked team in MLB.... Imagine the reaction if the ASG ends up being Mike Trout and the Royals.. Ned Yost was his typical self and basically said if people don't like it vote, always the charmer. Meanwhile Alex Gordon's comments were spot on.

Mike Trout and the Royals sounds like a 50s-60s doo-wop group.

Trout should just pass on the game but go out and win the Home Run Derby. Then we can all skip the 2015 ALL STUPID GAME.

Actually I was thinking that myself.

IMO some Royals fan probably created a program and hacked MLB's voting system so it allows them to vote instantly an infinite amount of times and just keeps that thing running for hours racking up hundreds of thousands

I actually can't even remember the last all-star game I watched.....early/mid-90s when Finley Langston started in Baltimore maybe?

I went the last time it was here.   I also went when it was at Yankee stadium.   Very drunk during both, don't remember them.   Still had a great time pounding those $12 coronas.

I don't care about the ignorance part and I don't think Royal fans hacked into the mlb website somehow..all they're doing is following the rules and yes...it is hilarious..but it wont be if the same thing happens next year

Hopefully all nine Royal starters get voted in just so they can have more reason to get rid of fan voting.

I doubt he would do it, but I would love it if Manfred would step-in and substitute some of the Royals for other players, like in 1957. That year, 7 of the 8 positions that could be voted on were Reds players. Then commissioner, Ford Frick, replaced two Reds players with Hank Aaron and Willie Mays.
