What is up with Brian Wilson (not the Beach Boy, the Beard)

Maybe our bullpen stabilizes with the bodies we have.  Burnett, Roth and Frieri are bright spots.  Madson, I would think, is getting closer to a return.  But I haven't heard anything about Brian Wilson.  Has his rehab stalled?  If it is going well, I wonder if we've been in contact!

Well if he comes cheap, sure, I'd love to have him but my guess is he'll ask for something over 5 million this year, which obviously is too much. He's not great, he's a solid reliever with a huge personality.

He can't be any worse than some of the arms we have. I think he's worth taking a flyer on if our bullpen doesn't straighten out.

He's goofy. If he was still good, SF would have retained him.

IF he were a 1.2whip and sub 3era guy then great.  If he's a 1.4whip and 3.5era guy then no thanks.  I don't think there is any way you would know without signing him and letting him have a go.  If he fails, then he becomes one of the first guys out.  Worth a flyer imo.
