Jimenez > Callaspo?

2-3, got a key walk. I like Callaspo, but not as a every day 3rd baseman. He is a good utility 3rd baseman.

If Scioscia is still Mgr in the am, Lucho sits because he had a great game. THAT'S reason134 Scioscia should be fired.

much better approach than I expected from him.  I'll wait and see, but he's looked very capable so far.  Pretty impressive if he's able to suddenly turn from a relative free swinger into someone who sees pitches and has quality abs.

Ya, that's a much better approach than I've seen out of him in the minors before and than I expected in that AB. Pretty easy for even a kid to get amped up and expand his zone.

 

Sample size and all that jazz obviously applies, but it was definitely a nice game.

He battled back from a 1-2 count to get that key walk, and some of those pitches were really close.  If he can continue to do that, I don't want him to go back to Salt Lake

I would prefer seeing Jimenez at 3B more often than Callaspo.
