Not trading Kendrick and a bunch of other guys for Miguel appears to be a bigger blunder than I had originally thought.  Then Arte tries to make up for by signing Pujols, Hamilton, and a bunch of other duds and here we are with a clean-up hitter named Aybar.  Pitching, defense and Mike Trout will be the reason the Halos have a good season.  It would be nice to see the offense turn it up, but if they can't, all the pitchers will have to have career-high seasons in this season.

Bad non trade. I won't argue that. But is asinine to say he tried to make up for it by signing Pujols and Hamilton. Those acquisitions were several years after the non trade.

Didn't Miami pull out of the trade at the last minute? I thought the Angels had agreed to the trade.

The player that I thought that we missed out on was Matt Holliday. He's been very productive for the price and he could've easily transitioned into a solid DH afterwards.

no, but these hindsight scenarios are bullshit from top to bottom.  change one thing and everything is different going forward.  Maybe we win more games because of Cabrera and draft below the Yankees who take Trout.  

 

Coulda Shoulda Woulda.  It's pointless.
