Today the club selected INF/OF Marc Krauss to the Major League roster and designated RHP Ryan Mattheus for assignment.

Kraus has been on the upswing of late, LHB, 20 BB vs 15Ks too.    At the same time I'm starting to wonder if Grant Green bought Josh Hamilton's coke or something because he sure seems to be low on the depth chart.

Reminds me of a few years back when they were calling up that chubby AAAA guy from the minors...if I recall he sucked pretty bad.

Don't see a problem with Krauss. Obviously, I'd rather have Green or Kubitza up but it's not like he is in his 30's and has a long track record of Major League struggles. He is still only 27. Also, he is replacing Cron who has done nothing for the team so far.
