Anyone else worried about Houston Street (Part II)

typical closer -- they tend to melt down to zero effectiveness at some point in their career.

and they tend to lose it fast........

Halos need to move to a closer by committee system and give Joe Smith a chance to close out some games.

Agreed.

On MLB tonight Harold Reynolds made the comment that both Street and Smith are right handed and not high velocity; kinda similar. He says hitters can start to time it and predict pitches.

He preferred the combo the Yankees have with Betances and Miller, right and left, a different look.

Not sure if I agree but first I've heard that.

Big effing surprise, a guy talking on MLB tonight prefers the Yankees 8th and 9th guys to the Angels because they hit a rough patch for 1 or 2 games.

Eff off.

Rivera had righties setting him up in the 8th for over a decade, and that never made a difference.

Those asshats will say anything to make sure everyone knows, the YANKEES JUST DO IT BETTER, all the time.

Street is like Weaver to me. Guy can't be perfect, but when he's out there, he's gonna try his hardest to be!
