1. Erick Aybar (S) SS
2. Mike Trout ( R) CF
3. Albert Pujols ( R) 1B
4. Kole Calhoun (L) RF
5. David Freese ( R) 3B
6. Matt Joyce (L) LF
8. Jered Weaver ( R) P
9. Chris Iannetta ( R) C

Giants:

1. Nori Aoki (L) LF
2. Joe Panik (L) 2B
3. Angel Pagan (S) CF
4. Buster Posey ( R) C
5. Brandon Belt (L) 1B
7. Casey McGehee ( R) 3B
8. Gregor Blanco (L) RF
9. Tim Lincecum (L) P

Weaver vs. Lincecum would have been a lot more appealing 5 years ago.

Pujols hits a 500 foot Homer into McCovy cove and the hr is overturned by the idiots in new york.

How does it end today?

Bases Loaded no outs, Angels down by four, Trout gets a hit that some how bounces off of each base runner?

Pujols hits a 500 foot homer to dead center and Eddings calls it an out?

What will really be funny is if they issue Weav an intentional pass in order to face Iannetta instead.

As for Johnny G... let's face it part of why he's been hitting well is because he has been hitting in front of Calhoun most of the year.  Pitchers have to challenge him a bit because the guy up next is a threat.   Today he's squeezed between Joyce and Weaver - he might not see a single strike all day.

saw that line up -- no wonder we're under .500 .

at least we WERE at .500 for the month of April -- much better than the Aprils we had in 2012 and 2013 but not as good as last year.

Gregor Blanco in the line up for SF Giants -- he should be good and rusty -- hasn't played in a while.......lost man in the crowded SF outfield.

Iannetta batting 9th behind Weaver, the pitcher??   Tony LaRussa must be staying at his East Bay (area) home this weekend, I think he snuck in and filled out the Angels line up card.

today's LA Times says by the time the Dodgers reach Milwaukee Monday, the team (which is off to a 5- lot of losses April start) may be imploding with a F/A fire sale of players (of which the Times story lists about 6 or 7 players).

on the list is Juan Segura --am sure some folks remember him -- how about him at 2B?

and then there's some help for the pen on that list -- a guy named Francisco Rodriguez.......they once called him K-Rod. He set a record with 62 saves with a S. Cal team it seems a lifetime ago, but was actually only about five years back..........
