Harpoon Henry's....geez...I haven't been there since I moved from Sunset Beach. I loved that place. Food sucked...but the bar was great.

That's where I'm headed in a couple weeks.

Can't recall how many times we'd tie one on at Turk's or Mother's and say..."let's go to Captain Jacks!"...and of course the wait would be hours so we'd say...**** it...Harpoon Harry's!

 

And then we'd feel really sad because Harpoon Harry's is not Captain Jacks.

Used to see him at the Fling in Santa Ana, or that joint  in orange circle.

When did you live in Sunset Beach?  I grew up in Seal Beach.

2000 thru 2008 or so. Future wife got me to move back to Fullerton or I'd probably still be living in that townhouse overlooking the harbor...I guess that was a pretty good sign.
