What I will say about the 2B situation in general, before the season started, is assumed we'd get .240, a low OBP and poor defense. In essence, a black hole, like LF is now.

But now, I'm starting to believe .280 with a good OBP and average defense is what we'll get from 2B, which is fantastic given that we're paying the league minimum for it and were able to stockpile a top LHP prospect.

My two boys have really gotten hooked by this guy. They used to be massive Trout fans (still are) but now when one sees Johnny G is up, he yells to the other. And if the game goes past their bedtime, they ask what "Johnny G" did when they wake up. Love how hard he plays!
