Angels Blogger melts down over Josh Hamilton

To the rest of the country, we get lumped in with Rev Halo Fan.

I don't differentiate Red Sox fans or Yankee fans.  No reason the rest of the country does different for us.

Unfortunately, this site has had our moments too.

What was our moment?

I don't count AO nominating Bobby Gross for the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Sorry.  Moments should have been plural.

I don't know that we've ever written an article that has crossed the line like that.  But there have been plenty of posts on the message board over the years that were out of bounds.

yeah.. and I am sure I have written some as well.

The difference is large, though, between a message board post, and the main board article, that also goes out under SB Nation.

There is certainly a difference.  But to those that aren't linked in closely with the site, and/or don't fully understand the nature of a message board, it all just falls under the umbrella of "someone on AngelsWin said ..."

I think there's a difference for sure. Our community forum is like a sports bar of people that have differing opinions that may or may not be well thought out opinions. Reactionary. Emotional.

A blog post reflects your website and organization, especially when it's written by one of your senior members or founders.

His resume looked so good, too.  I'm mean, "Duh!  Winning!"  Who wouldn't want to go with that?

Well besides the fact the resume was written on an used night club napkin that I'm pretty sure had blow on it?

Clearly.  You know that and I know that.  But I do think it's important to acknowledge that some people don't understand the nuance.

i don't have much of an issue with what he said, but i agree with chuck that that isn't the sort of thing you want on your website's blog. it reflects poorly on the entire website.

if i didn't feel so indifferent towards hamilton, i might be more upset about the blog.
