Why was Weaver removed?  How many pitches had he thrown?

 

I know it's obvious, but watching the game on tv vs listening to the game on the radio you see how pissed Weaver was in the dugout when told he can't go out and pitch in the 7th. 

He walks by Scioscia and says he has "one more" left in him and is told no.

 

Why couldn't Scioscia let him go back out and pitch. If the hitter walks or get a hit THEN you take Weave out, and the fans get to applaud Weave.  Doesn't he deserve that? He's our ace.

 

Scioscia has already pissed me off and it's early.

 

AND by over-managing and  bringing in a lefty pitcher and then a righty pitcher you're leaving TROUT, CALHOUN and Cowgill standing in the outfield longer late in the game.
