Chuck may be right....Giavotella might be better at 2...Aybar probably fits better at 6....but I still like Trout in the 3 hole...

fair question, storm, and you're right - after the 1st inning you're basically just ensuring that Gio gets at least one more AB than he has been and possibly taking an AB away from the bottom of the order guys - but otherwise there's no difference.

 

It's a gamble on Gio getting on base at a good clip, which if he does, you've just increased your RBI opportunities for the 2 or 3 guys on this team who seem to know how to it.
