Cron either has a great swing (when he first came up for a September call up that first time his swing looked great) or a terrible one.

hey Iannetta IN as a prior post notes.......sad state of situation when you have your second string DEFENSIVE catcher in the line up for a Sunday DAY game after a Saturday NIGHT game to give your regular a rest and then your regular needs to be inserted into the line up on SUNDAY's game (which is quickly slipping away, it seems, to become a rout) for DEFENSIVE purposes.

 

Butera used to play for the Dodgers and has some MLB time in......don't we have any one else in the system that can come up and play some back up D at the catching position....

 

and don't say 'reacquire Mathis -- who, I think is currently on the DL in Miami ? is that where he is?)
