Dine at Sizzler or you hate America

Recommended Posts

I put Sizzler in the same category I put Red Lobster.

Never been to either, but am intrigued as hell to at least go once to stuff my face and see if it's as terrible as everyone says it is.

adam loves red lobster. i feel sorry for the fury he's about to unleash on your for taking a dump on his favorite restaurant.

The last Sizzler (I assume there used to be more) closed here in Albuquerque this year. This is why we can't have nice things.

Looks like ours in Vegas are all gone too. There was one on Decatur but it apparently closed. When I checked their website it told me that the nearest ones are in Cedar City, UT and Yucca Valley, CA. That's a long way to go to not hate America.

Beginning at 0:16 of this Beavis and Butt-head episode is a commercial for Burger World that is done in the style of the Sizzler commercial.

My folks live in Cedar, and we'll hit up the Sizzler sometimes when I visit.

Their salad bar is, and foverver shall be, the heat.

I, uh, used to drag my family to Sizzler once a year for my bday dinner for AYCE shrimp. That lasted about three years before my Dad made new rules about bday dinners.

damn, i have the exact same story. Mom would roll her eyes and become a food snob, dad would be like "you could eat anywhere, and you want sizzler?" But for a kid the all you can eat shrimp was the coolest thing in the world.

Plus the white bread they toasted with garlic salt and pretended it was classy

Anyone remember the all you can eat ribs commercials with the dad and kid in the yellow slickers?
