SOTO -- who locked Suter out of the Kings locker room? The KINGS or the Staples folks?? haven't heard about that until your post -- that is WILD.

 

Dis-like the Royals?  WHY?  They're a good club with a bunch of good kids on the team. Pitcher Ventura is young & dumb (with a live arm) -- his catcher Perez was giving him the business about that amateurish move with Trout and I'm sure one of Ventura's mentors (Pedro Martinez) will have some more to say to him about bush league tactics -- knock it off......the rest of the Royals a pretty good group -- don't begrudge them because they execute well.

 

hey, the big news in Sports is this kid winning (Spieth -- spelling?) winning wire to wire at the Masters -- that has seldom happened before (I think once, maybe twice - wire to wire) and then he misses that final putt otherwise he's 19 under and beats Tiger's record.

Really? Why? Because they are good and get the most out of their talent? I hate the Red Sox and Dodgers MUCH more than a team like KC. So they beat us, it happens, I don't really dislike the team at all. When you suck that long you should have a bunch of good young talent. Most of their team is home grown players that have all come up and played like a team. I don't want to go up and down their roster to figure out how many of their starters are home grown, but my guess would be at least 6 of the 9 position players, if you don't count Escobar at short. I respect the team, although the pitcher today was a punk. I was at the game so I didn't really get to see what happened like if I were watching it on TV.

Lol no. I dislike them because they flat out own the Angels and embarrassed them in the ALDS last year. The Royals kicked their ass when the games mattered the most. I could care less about teams like the Red Sox, Yankees or any other team the Angels have fared well against recently.

The Royals are a good team, there's no denying that. I just dislike them for the simple fact that they completely own my favorite baseball team. So with that being said, **** them!

hey, guys -- the Royals are playing well and have since the middle of last season -- but don't be fooled -- I know a fair number of Royals fans and follow them somewhat closely (a kid from my hometown and old high school is in their rotation) -- last year --right before all the success -- and for some time before that -- there were a lot of calls (by Royals fans) for getting rid of Ned Yost who did seem to make one bone head move after another managerial move despite his talented team of players.

 

now all that is forgotten and Yost has a contract extension and is just the best manager around.........

 

it's early yet -- Royals are hot, have a good team, they'll have their days --

 

for some reason I don't think the Royals pen is as deep as it was last year..........we'll see.

 

congrats to them on another sweep of the Halos -- let's go out an concentrate on winning the next series.

Okay - I need to weigh in. Was at the Big A Sunday. Observations:

 

Outside of Trout, All the Angels had sub-.200 BAs....8 of 9

Ventura dogged Trout all the way to 1st. Trout looked at him - finally after rounding the bag - and palms up like "What?" Hosmer spoke with Trout...but Ventura overreacted.

Then - when Trouty slide, Ventura was right there barking....All on Ventura. Then he gets "hurt" or "injured"...whaaaaaaa.

 

Albert did step in and got in Ventura's grill...but then....on a 3-0 count...

 

Albert "I think I'm Chone Figgins" goes Erick Aybar circa 2008... runs. Out by a ton. 

 

FINALLY - As "God Bless America" is about the start - full on brawl behind KC dugout. I mean it was nice. Serious fists being flown. The Royals ignored the song...and watched over their shoulders as security rolled in. KC drunk being pounded - then he socked a yellow shirt as he headed up the aisle...opps....don't punch those dudes. Anaheim's finest escorted that clown away...with about 4 others. 

 

Felt like I was at Chavez Ravine ~

 

So after 6 gaames - CJ Cron is our DH? Where's Hank Conger? Our clean up hitter is the pits - whomever it is. We could really use Kendry Morales now. Why "rest" Kole Calhoun? Didn't he go yard Saturday? If Arte signs another World Series hero again, I'm going to call it a day.

Huge HR for Nellie Cruz in the 10th, M's showed me something in that series
