At his age, I'm not sure if I can buy into his numbers actually improving, but won't lie....he definitely does look better out there. Better swings and is really driving the ball more than usual, especially to opposite field. Hope he's hitting a 2nd gear kind of like David Ortiz has done(may or may not be PED inspired, of course)

Exactly, I constantly look at Ortiz and the numbers he still puts up and can't come up with a reason why Albert can't do the same in the latter part of his career.

Like most of you, I was beyond skeptical when I heard the annual speech about how good Albert Pujols looked. He seems to be moving better and he looks more locked in. Time will tell if it lasts, but for now he doesn't look like the same player we saw a year ago.

He sure looked locked in against Iwakuma in the 1st inning.

Have only seen him a couple times this year so far, but he looks leaner, and I love that swing he had on Wednesday.

 

Although he was a bit rough to start with us, I think we'll be pleasantly surprised by Pujols during the remainding years of his contract.
