It's hard not to be concerned when you see an 81 MPH fastball in the middle of the zone get crushed. I still think he'll be relatively productive for us this year but there's going to be times where it's very ugly.

I am usually not a Chicken Little fan, but I am concerned about Weave's velocity. 85-88, I think with his location and usual command, he'll be able to get by.

It isn't sudden.  It has been a gradual decline.  I'm hopeful he can fight through it and be an average pitcher the next two years, but it definitely looks like he's gone after this contract is up.

Not many pitchers with high maintenance deliveries last well into their 30s and maintain even decent/solid numbers.

The competitive nature can mask it for only so long. He will have solid outings like in the past.

But will they continue to decrease in each of these next 2 seasons?

Exactly. Everyone is so concerned about his velocity that they're missing the main issue. Weaver needs to learn to locate his FB better as his off speed stuff is still really good.
