interesting Trout stat...1 Stolen base???

He has 10 hits and 3 walks. 3 of the 10 hits are doubles and 1 is a triple. No homeruns. So he has had basically 9 opportunities to steal and he hasn't. WTF is going on here?

Uhh yea its meant to be serious, numbnuts. If he steals 1 base every 8 games he will steal approximately 20 bases this season.

8 games is too small a sample size to judge anything for anyone. He's also on pace for 0 home runs and a crap ton of triples.

I get what you guys are saying about it being too early in the season and I know he will have a ton of steals by the end of the season but my point is, isn't being aggresive and stealing bases the Angel's type of ball? I get it's only been 8 games but why should the team start playing their type of ball 2 or 3 weeks into the season and not start off that way?

He's actually slower this season. He just got beat to first on a misplay from the 3rd basemen. He would have already been on 1st last year.

 

Kinda looks like he just gained body fat and no muscle. I was hoping the weight he gained was more muscle than fat.

He also just missed robbing a home run in left that he might've had last year. Unfortunately his slugging percentage isn't 2004 Pujols-esque to make up for it
