We already have a glut of 2b but the power of Guerrero is intriguing. He is 28 years old and that is Cuban years. How did he get such an expensive contract? If the Dodgers are willing to eat his next two years salary and some of 2015 then he would be a great pickup if our 2b plans do not pan out. I still like Featherston as a prospect at 2b.

I'd kick the tires. See what the doyers want for him, and also how he handles 2B this spring. He's got some upside, and he crushed the ball at AAA last year before he got evander holyfield'd.

If the asking price is decent, why not.

It was common knowledge the Dodgers overpaid for him. That was the old regime, now they're much smarter. I do think Guerrero ends up being a little better than Callaspo though. .280 and 10 HR's with a low OBP.

It wouldn't hurt bringing him in, but the thing is, I can see Green and Yarbrough both ending up producing that in a full time gig.

Scotty:  Could he play 3b? Another option in addition to the young guy we got from the Braves?

Yes, I think he could play 3B, but a Dodgers prospect analyst could better tell you.
