Andre Johnson wants off Texans

HOUSTON -- Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson has been given permission to seek a trade, according to sources

After 12 seasons with Houston -- all of them as a starter and many as one of the best receivers in the NFL -- Johnson's role on the team was set to change. Rather than accept that, Johnson requested to be traded or released.

Where do you guys think he will end up?

He wanted out last year because he knew their QB situation was terrible and he wanted a shot at a ring after a terrible 2013 season by the team.  They won more games than I thought they would because of a very good defense but they should have honored his request last year.  Obviously he's older and not the dominant receiver he once was but now they're telling him his role will be decreased when he caught 85 passes last year.  Seems kind of crappy to not trade him last year and now they're apparently trying to chase him out but that's the business aspect of it.  His cap hit is 16.1M so I think he gets cut and becomes a FA.  Where he ends up may depend on how much of a pay cut he's willing to take.
