And I should have known better.

One day last week my wireless all-in-one stopped responding to any print requests sent to it. I figured, probably a corrupted driver. Downloaded new drivers and installed them. Still nothing. Deleted the device and the drivers and reinstalled, didn't fix the problem. Network seemed to be working fine since I could still get online with my primary computer and my smart phone. After about three hours of working on the problem and getting nowhere I finally gave up on the printer and contacted Epson customer support. Their suggestions didn't help either. The next day, my wife said that her iPad and my stepdaughter's phone wouldn't connect to the network. I took her iPad upstairs and reinitialized it, then tried to connect to the internet. The network kept rejecting the correct password. I checked an iPad tech forum for solutions to the problem. Tried two or three of them and nothing worked. Decided to do a cold reboot on the router, since nothing else had worked. The iPad immediately connected, and the printer started spitting out documents that I sent to it three days ago.

Moral of the story (and I already know this): Try the quick and easy before proceeding to more complicated solutions.
