Do you like Chipotle?

We used to have one of those. I remember ordering it for $5 or so and thinking it was a fair price. They brought out some store bought shit. It was wonder bread with kraft cheese slices and the terrible packaged lunch meat. Family was cool, but couldn't order anything but drinks after that.

Been doing the chicken and veggies daily, but want to smash some Mexican food pretty bad.

I used to have that arrangement with Panda Inn in Pasadena.

the panda inn restaurant in glendale closed. not sure if it was just ours or if others were affected. doesn't seem to have affected panda inn express.

i like delis, but it's hard to get a quality cheese sandwich at most of them. i wish more delis would carry smoked gouda and smoked swiss. the toppings are fine, but the cheese and the quality of the bread make a world of difference.

Try the deli at your local supermarket.

Even though they were the same company they couldn't be more different.  Panda Inn was gourmet and very good... and expensive.

Try the deli at your local supermarket.

Done that a few times with mixed results.

The deli fridge at the counter never, ever looks like it's holding fresh food, regardless of which grocery store I go to.

Smoqued is good.

Outside of that my favorite in the circle is probably Felix's. Great Cuban food.

Isn't Gabbis that place that used to be called The Abbey?

No, PJ Abbey's was on the corner of Orange and Almond (off the main drag). It is now Avila's el Ranchita. I think Gabby's was just an antique store.
