2016 Ryder Cup

It looks like the special "task force" is done meeting and they have decided to take the Ryder Cup in new direction.  The "task force" has chosen one of its 11 members to be the captain and it is none other than Davis Love III who who lost a 4 point lead on Sunday in 2012.

 

Great job men.  I am sure we are all excited that Furyk was one of DL3's captain picks in 2012 so here is hoping Furyk gets put on the red, white, and blue one more time.  

 

Rumors have it that DL3 will name Stricker and Lehman as his assistants.......those two were also on the special "task force."

I think DL3 is a fine choice.  Not really his fault the players couldn't handle the last day.

 

I just hope he can make some better captain's picks.

I like the DL3 pick.  He has the experience from last time to hopefully do a better job.  As long as there is no Furyk!

Watson blew it by not putting Horschel on the team last year just to get him experience if anything.  

 

Hoping that a team of Koepka, Horschel, Fowler, Reed, Spieth, and DJ can be a good group of core players moving forward.  Henley, English, Kirk, Haas and maybe even Na could be players too.

 

New blood is needed.

I would imagine a couple of the old timers will still be there.  Two or three of Phil/Tiger/ZJ/Furyk.  And also guys that seem to always be around - Snedeker/Bubba/Hoffman/Mahan.

I would always pair up Na with the crankiest Euro.  Just to piss him off even more.

No doubt that Bubba will make.  Phil, Tiger, Furyk just need to never play in the Ryder Cup again.
