Nowhere to put him. Starting pitching depth is surprisingly this teams strength. Richards, Weaver, Wilson, Shoemaker, Heaney, Santiago, and Tropeano all ready to contribute immediately. Rasmus is being stretched out as a starter and I think he's a very interesting guy to follow. Alvarez and Rucinski are sleepers in AAA Salt Lake. Nate Smith, Tyler DeLoach, and Kyle McGowin are making noise in AA Arkansas. Sean Newcomb, Chris Ellis, Joey Gatto, Victor Alcantara, Jonah Wesely, and Austin Wood are lurking in the lower minors. Heck even Cesar Ramos had a spot or two for the Rays last year and Alex Sanabia and Adam Wilk have major league experience (albeit not very strong numbers, AAAA players at best). Skaggs is on the mend for 2016 too. I'm only interested in adding a starter if it moves everyone down a spot; a top of the rotation arm. It's time to focus on injecting some bats in the system. Really like to see a young first baseman who can slowly mitigate Pujols to full-time DH, a lefty bat to replace Joyce after this year, and a second baseman brought aboard.
