ISIS delenda est

the ONLY time? i don't think that's true at all, nate. the americans who were beheaded (not the girl there with an aid group) had no mention of their faith that i recall. they were killed because they were americans, not Christians, and because ISIS wanted to make a point about us getting out of there.

126 Americans have been murdered in Mexico since 2013.  Why haven't we launched an assault on them?

Beyond that, the coalition includes other Arab countries that have flown missions. Not to mention the Shia and Yazidi militias that have fought them tooth and nail with whatever means they have. You could also include the Syrian army and the Kurds in that group. Lack of press in the US does not equate to lack of action.

As I mentioned earlier, we pick and choose based on different criteria. We don't engage every single nation where wrongs have occurred.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a lot of public outcry about it. I'm sure that factors into these kinds of decisions somehow.

Agreed! We will not rest until those dirty mooslems worship low interest rates, milf porn and craft beer

I don't drink much and lately most of it has been trying various "craft" beers.  Last weekend I got a big-ass can of Sapporo because I hadn't tried one in a few decades.  It was like what Bud would taste like if it was actually good.  **** craft beers.

I'm down with low interest rates and MILF porn, though.  Fo sho.

I seldom have an alcoholic beverage these days but man, I love Japanese beer from a refreshment standpoint. Dry and cold. Yum

Sapporo Beer Gardens was my favorite place in Japan. Japanese beers, at least the ones you get in Japan, are underrated.

I took the tour there a loooooong time ago (I think it was in 90, when I was in Atsugi for a few months).  What little I recall of it was fun.  I'm gonna get some more Sapporo for this weekend.

Did you ever get to Northern Japan?  I got to make port visits to Muroran and Otaru when I was on a destroyer.  Loved both of those places and seeing some of the Ainu museums.

Made a few multi-week trips to Misawa and did a mini tour of the country with a few friends in '87. Made a trip to Nyuta Baru, which is near Nagasaki. we weren't allowed out alone but the JSDEF chartered a bus and took us around the area. Every kid in the area wanted a picture with us. Spent 3 1/2 years in Okinawa. Love Asahi Draft on tap. Never found a proper substitute for yakisoba as a mid-drunk snack.
