Ranking all 141 SNL cast members

I think the top of the list is great, but man the bottom of the list is just awful. Norm McDonald, someone they let do Weekend Update being in the bottom ten, that is just ridiculous.

 

I think that's the problem with having only one person compiles these lists. The guy obviously just didn't like Norm McDonald's brand of humor on Weekend Update. Whereas, obviously, he really, really liked Tina Fey's.

 

In my opinion, two words sum up why Norm McDonald was hilarious on Weekend Update: Frank Stallone.

Tina Fey is a really good writer but was not even the 3rd best woman cast member on the series.

Norm Mcdonald was the best on Weekend Update because he didn't give a **** about anything. There could be an entire 30 minute show of Weekend Update (kind of set up like The Soup) and I would watch it in a heartbeat.

Jane Curtain (47) deserves far more respect, she had to be a foil to Murray, Aykroyd, Belushi and was Weekend Anchor after Chase walked. Her and Radner partnered perfectly on skits letting you completely forget Laraine Newman was part of the cast.

Johnny Dangerously was awesome. Haven't seen it in 25 years, no idea if I would still find it funny or not.

I watched it about a year ago after not having seen it in probably 20 years. It was actually funnier than I remembered. A lot of the humor went over my head when I first watched it way back when.

Why was Hannah Montana and Kanye Kardashian performing at the 40th Anniversary show?  I thought the show was pretty good over all but that was a terrible decision to have them perform.

This is funny but gets annoying because of his "hey how about" delivery.  The best part is all the shots of the audience cringing or just looking scared.

That was a pretty good set by Norm. I went to the ESPY's a few years ago and Seth Myers was the host, it was the year that The Beard became a thing, it was a great night and Seth was funny.

Norm was great last night on the SNL 40 show. He brought back his Burt Reynolds as Turd Furguson character.

I can't believe they wasted time with that Californians sketch. I didn't find it funny at all and couldn't wait for it to be over. It seemed to drag forever.

Not a huge Melissa McCarthy fan but I thought she was great during Weekend Update.
