Nicely done by the Halos. Not only are they losing more and more but they are directly losing to a team who is above them in draft positioning, thus inching closer and closer to them.

Unfortunately Miami keeps losing and the Halos don't face them.

White Sox are one win away from losing a protected draft slot:

t1) MIA, HOU 11-30

3) LAA 15-25

4) NYM 15-23

5) MIL 16-23

6) TOR 17-24

7) CHC 17-23

8) LAD 17-22

9) SD 18-22

10) CWS 18-21

Angels may be stuck no higher than 3rd as both Houston and Miami are both on pace for historically bad seasons, even before their inevitable trade deadline sell offs.

With the LA Angels and the Disastros in the division, several top shelf players expected to return from the DL, and trade chips on hand to possibly make a big trade, the MLB leading Texas Rangers could threaten the all time regular season wins record.

With their second win of the four game series, the White Sox are no longer in position to receive a protected draft pick in 2014.

t1) MIA, HOU 11-31

3) LAA 15-27

4) MIL 16-24

5) TOR 17-25

6) NYM 16-23

7) CHC 17-24

8) LAD 17-23

9) SD 18-23

10) MIN 18-20

The Angels, Miami and Houston both keep losing. There have been no relative changes to the reverse standings. The Angels will need to take advantage of their 12 remaining games against Houston if they hope to move up in the reverse standings. Unfortunately the Angels do not get an opportunity to directly face Miami this season.

1) MIA,  25-50  [+7.5]

2) HOU,  29-48  [+4.5]

3) NYM,  30-42  [+1]

4) CHC,  MIL 31-43  [+1]

6)  CWS,  31-42  [+0.5]

7) LAD,  32-42

8) LAA,  33-43

9) SEA,  34-43  [-0.5]

10) MIN, 34-38  [-3]

Angels only one game out of the third overall draft pick. Also, with 7 games left to play in direct competition against Houston even a #2 spot is a possibility.
