In all seriousness, if he's only out 8 weeks he'll probably be starting in early April.

 

That said, it's Josh Hamilton, so he'll be out until mid-June, come back and hit .187 with 2 HR in a month then re-injure himself and be out the rest of the year. This is a turd that refuses to flush.

What does he care...he's making a boatload of money, going to be on TV, and now has the opportunity to take some heavy duty pain meds.

i'm sure others have said this, but if there was any inkling at all that this was a problem, why not get it taken care of months ago?

Reading what I'm reading on Twitter this is more on the Angels (and their amazing medical staff) than it is Hamilton. The team said they didn't even consider surgery for Hamilton right after the season. This sucks but he's hurt, what are you gonna do?

6-8 WEEKS ... better now than later. Doesn't sound like he'll miss much time. Hopefully he can help the team when he returns. The trade for Joyce was huge ... nice job by Dipoto.

Im not gonna get too worked up, but typical. And i dont mean to discount anyone getting hurt, but it coincides with his bullshit comments last week
