Since we're already over our international $ limit and probably aren't serious about Moncada, it would make some sense to consider this guy....I guess it depends on how the Angel scouts view him but, if they like him, I might get involved since we're about to "go dark" on the international market for awhile....

i honestly am not sure why we aren't signing multiple cuban prospects. it seems like the perfect opportunity to stock our farm system with some high value hitters, which is really what is keeping the system "down". we're going to be out of the market for a few years because of baldoquin, so i'm at a loss personally.

This is the exact type of move I'd like to see. Doesn't count towards the luxury tax either. Gotta add some bats to the system.

Honestly, I would guess that the Angels sign at least one more international prospect.  Ibanez seems likely to have a good cost-to-value ratio.

So there is also a dire need for Asians now that Conger's gone.

There isn't much to complain about regarding the direction of the team going forward.

But not signing another international talent yet is a mystery, given being limited to $300k for each of the following two years.
