Angels Official Website: Aybar preparing for new double-play partner in '15

They're all similar as far as who they are as players. Each has had considerable minor league success, each hasn't broken into the major leagues full time yet, and each comes with defensive question marks.

The best choice I feel is either the hot hand or the highest floor/upside , which I feel is Green and Featherston.

But we know they'll give it to Rutledge.

Please allow me to Troll

Callaspo was a salary dump and Green was a throw in.

Feathers on was basically let go unprotected.

Angels gave up value for Rutlege which is why he will start at second base.

Seriously, it should be a interesting competition for the second base job.

Until reading this article, I didn't realize just how much infield depth we had. Yarbrough, Featherston, Rutledge, Baldoquin, Kubitza and Green all seemingly have the potential to be big league starters.

Here again, Dipoto has done an excellent job in a really short amount of time. I know there is an odd amount of dislike for Rutledge on here, but the guy is versatile and has held his own at the major league level. He also has an outstanding minor league track record and is still young enough to realize that potential.

Featherston has also had some decent success, albeit at older ages for his levels.
