Pick a Second Baseman

Just to be clear, #1 (Rutledge) stats are: .259/.308/.711.  I got all excited seeing a +.300 avg. hitter with a +.400 obp. and thought he was awesome.

Yeah and he's even worse then that given where he has played.  He has an OPS+ of 83 and his home/away splits are pretty drastic:

Coors:  .287/.339/.448 with a .338 BAbip

Away:   .230/.274/.354 with a .289 BAbip

There is no replacement even close to the caliber player of Howie Kendrick on the Angels. His presence will be be missed big time. I don't think stats play a huge factor in young players. I still believe Rutledge has more potential and better fits (agility and speed) what the club is looking for at second base. Beckman is still available I believe. I've never been a fan of Green but maybe I'm wrong.
