Didn't they also make a movie about this kid or at least his story?  I seem to recall trailers for a similar story a few years back.

You mean about the existence of heaven?  It doesn't sway me one way or the other about that, and I can't imagine it proving or disproving anything at all to anybody with a brain except that people will lie, and oftentimes it's in order to make money. 

 

I do indeed remember seeing a lot of complete idiots all over blogs and other social media who were trying to say that this kid's story was evidence that heaven did exist, though.  Yep, I remember that pretty definitively.

Nope, similar story, but different. The movie was based on the book "Heaven is For Real" by Todd Burpo. No malarkey involved.
