It's Ricardo Sanchez, who was pretty highly rated. But I'm pretty happy with this deal. We're no longer short on young pitching and we've filled a clear need.

I'd look into dealing for Kyle Kubitza of the Braves. He could be a future lead off man

Hyatt looks like an interesting but unspectacular relief prospect. Racks up the K's but his WHIP is pretty high.

Defensively, Kubitza's greatest asset is his very strong arm. It's probably the best among the Braves' prospect infielders.

 

Using his quick feet and soft hands, Kubitza has a good feel for his position. He has enough defensive ability to stick at the position.

Kubitza could be our #2 hitter in the very near future. Knows how to take a walk which is something the team values.

Sad to Ricardo go though. But hey you got to pay to play!

Love it. Sanchez is a big risk for the Braves. Upside, but risky.

 

Kubitza gets on base and is versatile. They needed someone like this in the worst way. Now we have Baldoquin, Kubitza, Featherston, Yarbrough, Green, etc as options for 3B/2B spots.

 

Moncada would still be nice but I won't hold my breath

Sucks to lose Sanchez, but at 17 he had a long, long way to go.
