Windows Mail Client

Tired of Thunderbird, constant updates, and the fact it is just old.

 

Any suggestions for a windows Mail Client?

 

I have gmail, but it's not my primary email...I have my own domains and multiple accounts in those domains.

 

5+ for my own domains, including my primary address. POP3 based

2 gmail 

1 hotmail (amazon, on-line accounts, etc)

Outlook is still the best around IMO.

yeah...I figure that is probably the case...but it still feels like the same Outlook mail client that is has been for the last 20 years. The Gmail InBox interface sounds kind of cool, sorting messages by category automatically....but I haven't played around with it much because I don't use gmail outside of professional/work type of email or as an account for access to various google applications.

I send/receive probably 250 emails a day using Outlook.  It is solid, they have made a lot of updates.

I have it for work, 2010 professional version. It is still just plan old Outlook email. Impossible to find old emails, searching is a pain in the ass, etc. etc.

Do you use quotes when searching for old emails?

yep, quotes...commas, etc.the Find Related feature is almost useless...the spam filter sucks and needs to be adaptive and learn...the rules feature is archaic. It's functional, yes...it's just dated, very dated.
