I hope they do well. I might even try to catch a game when I visit San Diego. I love Petco.

Padres...last year I couldn't give away my infield box seats, except when dogs in town.  Dad is a huge pods fan and even he got tired of their anemic offense.  He's pretty pumped.

Angel Stadium isn't that different from Petco as far as pitchers parks go.  It's actually been a tougher park to hit HRs in 3 out of the last 5 years.

They (the Padres) did worse on the road than at home last year.

 

Upton was in Atlanta (a pitchers park)...much better home numbers.

 

Kemp's numbers are virtually the same home/road

 

Smith had better home numbers

 

Myers pretty much sucked no matter where he hit, but should do better this year.

 

 

Now that they actually have a legit line up..they should be fine.

well, all those guys are more line drive guys than power guys -- so they should do OK.

 

just expect the HR numbers to  fall off.
