Should be interesting to see who comes out of it with a job on the roster.

Between 2B, utility IF, C, 4th OF, 5th starter, Bullpen, DH, Backup 1B.

The competition can only be a good thing and hopefully bring put the best in everyone. Pressure on Hamilton and Fresse to come out of the gate strong. Same goes for Wilson. Cant wait.

Not for their jobs but Freese is in a contract year and underperformed the last 2 years and Hamilton...well... same under performing but for more money with more years to go and he didnt exactly win any fans during the playoffs. Theres definitely pressure on them.

I'd argue the 3-5 slots in the rotation are up for grabs while Skaggs and Richards are still rehabbing for a while.

In my useless opinion Wilson should be guaranteed nothing anymore except his money. He should have to earn his starting spot this coming spring..Nevertheles watching Heaney,Rasmus,Tropeano,Wilson,Hector and Co battle it out should be exciting.

Freese may have had what some consider a "down" year, when you compare his numbers to Headley , they're extremely similar. And Headley going to get a 50 million dollar contract.

So whether or not Freese has one of his "good" years, he'll be a very rich man this time next year.

I like Freese and I'm sure he'll make good money this time next year when he heads elsewhere. Im sure his numbers will be better next year without the slow start.

yeah, i think freese will be fine this coming season. we've all seen countless times that there's a learning curve when a player switches leagues, and now that that is out of the way, he'll be fine.
