A friend of mine came home to their door kicked in, valuables stolen, Christmas presents stolen, and baby supplies from the baby room stolen. She is pregnant and due next week. Just heartbreaking the timing of their home invasion. Posting to help them as they don't care about the valuables, but do want to get the baby items for the newborn due soon.

What a shitty feeling to be robbed... Arrived home tonight to find the front door kicked in. Mark's computer, gone. TV, gone. DVD player, gone. My passport, my resident card, our check books, my health records. Xmas presents. But lowest of all they stole a ton of our baby stuff. The stroller, pack n play bassinet, hand made gifts, my breast pump, nursing pillow, baby carrier insert, etc. We are due next week, and I am temporarily crushed that we lost all our baby stuff. Must take a deep breath. Try to see some positive. No one was hurt. Things are things. Sigh...

Do your friends go to church? Some churches stockpile baby supplies for families in need and I'm sure they would at least give your friends some supplies.

It's amazing how desperate people are to steal from others.

I read the link. They are looking for cash to pay their insurance deductible of 1K which I would guess pays for all their losses.

No, a friend was upset and simply created the page for them. They didn't do it.....the husband is out of state and the wife doesn't know how to set this up. I saw the friend set it up.

 

If people want to donate or help it is thankful, but I just saw a post from her that everything is cared for....I think someone is donating to fix or help out on everything from her husbands side. I think whoever this person is, they are doing enough that the couple aren't executing the fund.

 

Kind of cool. This girls stomach is so big. To hear their baby goods were stolen as well is rough.

 

I appreciate the posts and concerns. If they don't have it cared for I'll repost.

I still think they are going to need more help than they think.
