I heard a story about Enberg being on a plane when the Angels won the world series and he cried when he found out they won. Great announcer and person as well.

I feel very lucky to have grown up in Orange County and listened to hundreds if not thousands of Angels and Rams games.  He always made you feel like you were at the game, and that you knew each of the Angel players personally.  He always made the game exciting and that was an accomplishment in itself for some really bad Angel teams.
