Stupid dog's dew claw grew into his paw. Need to get it removed. 

 

Anywhere in OC is fine. Looking to for the cheapest option that gives my dog at least a 5% chance of pulling through

My longest and best friend is a DVM in Tustin up the road from where you live. He works at Veterinary Specialty Group on Edinger in Tustin, if you think this is going to require a specialist that place deals with everything.

If the doesn't workout for you, you could drive out to where the po'folks live and get a good vet for a reasonable price.

Find a middle-aged or older vet with a modest facility.  Not a dump but not some fancy place either.  They tend to be the cheapest.

Most Clinics are cheaper than an Animal Hospital.

Grab the coupon from the Pennysaver for El Toro Animal hospital off Frontage road. Haven't been there for years but it is small and the Dr was nice/reasonable.

Coupon says free exam (I'm guessing no office visit charge?)

Are dew claws supposed to be removed when the puppies are young?

You can remove them when they're pups. We generally just get his nails trimmed every few months. Just forgot this go around and it grew too much.

 

Anyway, we're all good. My gardener Manuel says he can take care of it.
