Favorite baseball movie

My all time favorite is my VCR recording of game 7 of the 2002 World Series.A few slow parts in the middle but the ending is amazing.

Absolutely!  I have most of the games from the '02 run on VHS too; I'm still waiting for Angels/MLB to release a monster-dvd like the Red Sox did after they won in '04...

I blame the late-hour for not including "The Sandlot".  It's one of our families favorites; we usually sit around the fire-pit and watch it to ring-in summer.  I also have to agree with "Nakedgun" being included as a baseball movie too.  You got Lt. Drebin as an umpire, and our own Reggie as the robotic/zombie hit man; lot's of great send-ups of MLB in that short amount of time in the movie!

I also forgot about "Taking Care of Business."  The Cubs beating the Angels in the World Series?!  Are You Serious, Bro?!  It's my VHS dirty-little-secret movie...

*btw... AYSB is a trademarked phrase (used a LOT at work and in my teams' locker rooms).

You are kidding right?

When they finally release the DVD they should call it

2002 World Series Video - Anaheim Angels vs. San Francisco Giants

No, I'm not... and Duh...

I collect the World Series films, and have two copies of the 2002 dvd (bought it before I got the MLB World Series dvd collection).  I actually got duped into buying a third one, because it had different packaging.  Luckily I knew a deserving fellow Halo fan.

I'm talking about this one...

The Sox release is 12 dvd's... has the FULL game broadcasts of the ALCS and World Series.  I'm too lazy to transfer them from vhs to dvd.

*check me out!  I added an attachment!
