Doesn't look terrible and I love Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, but damn. How can you time reboot the classics like this?

Trailer looked better than I thought it would when I heard the storyline a few months ago.

I'll wait for reviews from critics who were fans of the Terminator and T2 to decide if I pay money at the theater or pay to rent it.  

 

I have a few friends who are big fans of T1 and T2 who are pretty much the same.  

The Terminator franchise is my favorite. Same with the tv show a few years back. I'm not entirely pissed off at what this looks like, just more at the fact they're essentially erasing the first two movies entirely.

How many times can I watch a Terminator get pumped full of bullets and reform itself, time travel, and "I'll be back"

I'll wait for the reviews on this one.  1 was great.  2 had the winey kid.  3 I forget about.  Salvation had the potential to be great, until they introduced I don't know what that terminator thing was.

To me the best sci-fi uses the technology and science as the backdrop/setting and it's not the heart of the story. A good story is a good story, regardless of setting.

The first two are absolutely fantastic films. The third was beyond awful. Salvation was OK at best, but was watchable.

Honestly, the TV show was the best thing (by far) since T2.

Terminator 3 wasn't bad. At least it wasn't rated PG-13 like the schlock that was Salvation.

T4 was the worst for me. I don't remember much about it except of course that it was horrible. Good news is that there is nowhere to go but up.
